Earlier in March, we advised users (see here) that the Association was initiating an RMS modernization initiative and that a session was being considered at the Annual CBAA Conference in Calgary this June.
The initial objective of the initiative, at this time, is to identify what elements a well-functioning system should include to:
Enhance user experience
Improve & simplify access and account management
Expand functionality
Improve reporting and data mining
Increase engagement, usage & satisfaction
It should be noted that once an understanding of what is expected from an RMS is reached, recommendations will be made to the CBAA’s Board regarding which system will best suit the modernization, such as upgrading the current RMS or seeking a different solution.
We are therefore inviting you to a Pre-conference RMS User Meeting. At this meeting, we will seek initial views of users as to their needs for an RMS which will help focus discussions during subsequent discussions. To kick things off, we will present an initial list of items (here) that over the years have been noted as areas of needed improvement.
CBAA members, join us on May 13 at 2 p.m. EDT for our virtual annual general meeting. At the AGM we’ll present annual reports (including financials), elect directors and address new business. If you have a matter for discussion at the CBAA’s 2025 AGM, contact the association in advance at membersupport@cbaa.ca.
Aviation Day-on-the-Hill – a non-partisan, informal Meet & Greet reception open to all MPs, Senators, and invited association guests. It's an opportunity to provide MPs and Senators with one event where they can meet and discuss issues with major aviation associations in Ottawa.
